Ian closed his cell and checked his hair. He hadn't seen Penelope in a couple of weeks thanks to hockey practice. But today, he had the weekend off, and a movie was where his heart was calling him to go. He had invited Penelope... and she had said she'd show up. So he decided to look nice.
He checked himself in the mirror and spiked his hair a little. He wore baggy dark blue jeans with a button up white shirt that had 3/4 sleeves. It was unbuttoned to expose a black wife beater tank underneath it. He pulled on a black bracelet he had worn since he was a child and walked out of his dorm.
He walked to the parking lot and got into his car. He pulled out of the parking lot and sped towards the movie theater. He got out and walked to the ticket booth, purchasing two tickets to the matinee movie. He leaned against the wall and waited for Penelope.

She wanted to look her best. It had been a few weeks since she saw Ian. She'd thought about him alot though. She was always thinking about him. It was hard to get him out of her head. She saw glances of him before school but he always got home so late she was already asleep. She hadn't talked to him or called him. They've texted a little back and forth.
She looked down at her outfit. She was wearing a simple black shirt and a flowy skirt. She looked nice. She couldn't remember exactly where they were going. She picked up her cell phone and flipped through her recent texts. Movie theater. Hmmm i wonder what movie we are going to watch. maybe a horror so we can cuddle. Or a drama so we can relate. She loved going to the movies.
She grabbed her keys and walked out her door. She looked into the yard next to hers and didn't see his car. He must have already left. Opening the door she got in and turned her radio up. it was her favorite song, and it was just long enough where she could listen to the whole song and be at the theatre.
She pulled up to the curb and she saw him leaning against the wall. He was so perfect, with a white shirt and dark jeans. She sighed as she got out of the car and walked over to him. "Hey cutie." She said kissing him gently on the lips. "Ready?"

He stood against the wall, thinking to himself, waiting for Penelope. He was quite lucky to have a girl as amazing as she was. He looked up to see her walking towards him. She looked perfect. When she leaned up and kissed him, he grabbed her hand and interlaced their fingers. "Hey babe."
He smiled. "Yeah, I'm ready." He pulled her closer to him once more for another kiss and then stood up straight and walked with her towards the theater, handing off the tickets. He kept their hands interlaced. When they entered, he walked to the back row and sat in the very center, Penelope sitting next to him. "It's a horror flick. I've been wanting to see it for a couple of weeks now." He looked to her. "I hope that's ok." He said, the question in his eyes. If she had wanted to see a different one, he would've gotten up in a heartbeat. He was that crazy about this girl.
